"We had Nature First do work twice on our 150 ft. redwood trees. They are on a steep bank of Soquel Creek in a difficult site . . . no flat area except the deck.
The first time was over two years ago to thin out overgrown limbs. The second time was to clean out new growth and crossing limbs that were a hazard to the deck that they grow through. They also bolted two limbs that formed a weak crotch.

This letter is to say thank you so much for a job well done! Your crews have upheld the highest standards of professionalism in how they took care of our trees and taught us how to manage our land.
Your crew was hired to remove a handful of live oaks, to limb some very tall redwood trees that were a danger to the house, and remove an approximately 115’ redwood tree that was in close proximity to the neighboring property. Each of these presented unique challenges to the crew. It was apparent that this was not a job for those without knowledge or skill because if either were lacking, the consequences would have been significant and catastrophic. As we watched the crew in the trees, we realized that we had no reason to worry. From the supervision by one of the owners of the company, to the safety of the crew and the skill of the operators, it was apparent that there was nothing to worry about.
My parent’s house presented a whole different set of challenges. The job at this site entailed removal of two huge bay laurel trees, and the deadwood removal and trimming for maintenance of almost an acre of healthy live oak. While the most impressive part of the job was watching the bay trees come down, we were most worried about the acres of live oak and the restoration of our view. Both the company owners, as well as the crew foreman, were constantly in contact with my mother or myself, allowing us input as to the work that was being done. The final result of this was a beautiful restoration of our land. This work that was done helped protect our house by reducing fire fuel loads, improved the health of the trees and reclaimed our view from our overgrown trees!
